2021 Wills Week

Do you need a will drafted?

Wills Week is made possible through the generous support of solicitors who donate their time to ensure that 100% of your booking fee is donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and will be taking place from the 22-26 March. Wills Week is a great opportunity to have a fully qualified professional solicitor in your local area establish your first Will or update an existing one. The cost is $125 (1/2 hour appointment) or $225 (1 hour appointment) for a couple to have a simple* Will drafted (*please refer to the terms and conditions at the bottom of this page for further details). As a part of planning for your Wills Week appointment, we will also provide you with useful information about how you can leave the legacy of a bequest to support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and help save lives.

Steps to complete your online Wills Week Booking (for other methods to book call 1800 155 155):

  1.  Select from the table below the solicitor you would like to make an appointment with in your local area.
  2.  Follow the link to choose your preferred date and time that the solicitor has available.
  3.  Complete your booking and payment online.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to download and print the Wills Week Instruction Form. This form enables you to outline what you would like in your Will and must be lodged (by mail or in person) with your solicitor at least 7 days prior to your appointment. This enables your solicitor to pre-draft your Will document for you to review at your appointment. The link in the confirmation email will also have information for you about how you can establish a bequest in your Will to support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
  5. Attend your Wills Week appointment to review and sign your drafted Will.

Importantly, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service does not have any access to the information contained on your Wills Week Instruction Form or details you place in your Will. All information remains strictly confidential between you and your solicitor.

Bookings are essential and close 26th February. To start, select a solicitor from a town near you in the table below and follow the link to complete your booking:

Terms & Conditions

Refunds will only apply if your appointment is cancelled at least 5 working days prior to your appointment date. Please note your booking does not cover the drafting of Power of Attorney documents. Should there be conditions you wish to have placed into your Will that are deemed by the participating solicitor to be over and above a ‘simple’ Will, the solicitor may provide instruction that a follow up booking be made with their firm at your own cost.

Your Will is being prepared by a solicitor and we, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, are not providing any legal advice as part of this process. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service does not have any access to the information contained on your Wills Week Instruction Form or details you place in your Will. All information remains strictly confidential between you and your solicitor.
